چکیده
The removal of or decrease in pesticide residues soil has attracted considerable attention, due to the serious pollution pesticides soil. purpose study was explore adsorption behavior biochar on and impact degradation soil, providing a basis for remediation by biochar. Biochars were prepared via pyrolysis rice straw at high temperature (300 °C, 400 500 600 °C). individual competitive three triazine herbicides, prometryn, atrazine, simazine, investigated, herbicide biochar-added determined. selected herbicides presented similar characteristics biochar, amount adsorbed increased with higher preparation studied simultaneously, decreased as follows: simazine > atrazine prometryn. competition lower affinity than that when they are individually. isotherm best fitted Freundlich model. half-lives 9.8~12.6 d, 5.2~8.1 3.7~5.6 respectively. Biochar addition evaluated could be potential sorbents can implemented pesticides.

Dynamics of Potassium Release and Adsorption on Rice Straw Residue
Straw application can not only increase crop yields, improve soil structure and enrich soil fertility, but can also enhance water and nutrient retention. The aim of this study was to ascertain the relationships between straw decomposition and the release-adsorption processes of K(+). This study increases the understanding of the roles played by agricultural crop residues in the soil environment...
متن کاملSorption and ecotoxicity of pentachlorophenol polluted sediment amended with rice-straw derived biochar.
To investigate the feasibility of using biochar to control organic pollutants in sediments, we extracted biochar from rice-straw combustion residues (RBC) and studied its adsorption ability and effect on seed germination ecotoxicity of pentachlorophenol (PCP). The results showed that the Freundlich and dual-mode models could describe all the sorption isotherm data well, and the log K(OC) values...
متن کاملUse of rice straw biochar simultaneously as the sustained release carrier of herbicides and soil amendment for their reduced leaching.
The sustained release and reduced leaching of herbicides is expected for enhancing their efficacy and minimizing their pollution. For this purpose, the rice straw biochar made at a relatively low temperature (350 °C) (RS350) was used simultaneously as the carrier for incorporating herbicides besides as the soil amendment. In this way, the sustained release of herbicides acetochlor and 2,4-D was...
متن کاملApplication of Rice-Straw Biochar and Microorganisms in Nonylphenol Remediation: Adsorption-Biodegradation Coupling Relationship and Mechanism
Biochar adsorption presents a potential remediation method for the control of hydrophobic organic compounds (HOCs) pollution in the environment. It has been found that HOCs bound on biochar become less bioavailable, so speculations have been proposed that HOCs will persist for longer half-life periods in biochar-amended soil/sediment. To investigate how biochar application affects coupled adsor...
متن کاملEffect of Biochar Amendment and Ageing on Adsorption and Degradation of Two Herbicides
Biochar amendment can alter soil properties, for instance, the ability to adsorb and degrade different chemicals. However, ageing of the biochar, due to processes occurring in the soil over time, can influence such biochar-mediated effects. This study examined how biochar affected adsorption and degradation of two herbicides, glyphosate (N-(phosphonomethyl)-glycine) and diuron (3-(3,4-dichlorop...
